The Swiss Global Change Day is a conference for the whole global change community. The Swiss Biodiversity Forum supports the event organized by ProClim-. Ongoing problems are discussed in a transdisciplinary manner. The aim is to present recent highlights of global environmental change research as well as to point out challenges for future research. This event brings together people from government agencies, economy and politics to ask questions and explain their needs and views on the presented topics.
The 11th Swiss Global Change Day was held on April 20, 2010 in Bern. Lidewij Keser from the University of Bern received an award for the best poster in the biodiversity field with the title «Determinants of invasiveness in clonal plant species».
